How do I sign up?
Pick a plan on the pricing page or tap "Get started" on any signup card. Enter your email + a password — that's the whole flow.
How do I install the app?
Visit our download page for App Store, Play Store, and direct download links for macOS / Windows / Linux. Sign in with the same email you used on the website.
Do I need to install both web and mobile?
No. You can use either or both. One subscription covers all your devices regardless of where you signed up.
How many devices can I use?
Up to 5 simultaneous connections per account, across iPhone, Android, Mac, Windows, and Linux.
Payments & refunds
What payment methods do you accept?
Apple In-App Purchases on iPhone, Google Play on Android, and credit card / Apple Pay / Google Pay / PayPal on the web (via Stripe).
Can I get a refund?
Web subscriptions: 7-day money-back guarantee — email billing@securepaidvpn.com within 7 days. Apple and Google subscriptions are refunded by them — request a refund directly in the App Store / Play Store.
How do I cancel?
Web subscriptions cancel from your subscription dashboard via the "Manage billing" button. iOS subscriptions cancel from Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions. Android cancels from the Play Store → Subscriptions.
Why is the iPhone price higher than the website?
Apple charges a 15–30% commission on every iOS subscription. We pass through some of that cost. Subscribing via the website avoids the commission and is cheaper — and the same login works on every device.
Where can I find my receipts / invoices?
Click "Manage billing" on your subscription page — Stripe's hosted portal has every invoice as a PDF.
Tunnels & troubleshooting
The app won't connect / says "Connecting…" forever
Try (1) switching protocol from WireGuard to OpenVPN TCP in Settings — some networks block UDP. (2) Try a different country. (3) Toggle airplane mode on/off. (4) Reinstall the app if the problem persists. If none of that works, send us your device + iOS/Android version and which step failed.
My speeds are slow
Closer servers are faster. Switch to a country near you and pick the lowest-load city. WireGuard is faster than OpenVPN — make sure you're not on the OpenVPN protocol unless you need it for a restrictive network.
What's the kill switch?
If the VPN tunnel drops unexpectedly, the kill switch instantly blocks all internet traffic until the tunnel is back. Your real IP can never leak. It's enabled by default — you can toggle it in Settings → Protection.
Which protocol should I use?
WireGuard for speed (default). OpenVPN TCP for restrictive networks (work, school, hotels). IKEv2 for fastest reconnect when switching between Wi-Fi and cellular. OpenVPN UDP as a fallback.
Account & privacy
I forgot my password
Go to /forgot, enter your email, and we'll send a reset link.
How do I delete my account?
Email privacy@securepaidvpn.com from your account email. We purge all associated records within 30 days.
Do you keep logs of my activity?
No. We don't log browsing history, DNS queries, IP addresses, connection timestamps, bandwidth used, or session durations. See our privacy policy for the full list.
I'm being charged but my account isn't premium
Check that you're signed in with the same email you used to subscribe. If you bought via Apple/Google IAP, tap "Restore Purchases" in the app's settings. If you bought on the web, go to your subscription dashboard. If still wrong, send us the receipt — we'll fix it within an hour.
